Welcome to MyChatCoverage ("we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our web application, including any features, content, and services provided through MyChatCoverage.com (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

  1. Use of the Service
    1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use this Service.
    2. Your Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and use.
  2. User Content and Data Usage
    1. Document Uploads: You may upload insurance-related documents to the Service to receive AI-assisted analysis. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit this content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
    2. License Grant: By uploading, submitting, or otherwise providing content or data through the Service, you grant us a worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, irrevocable license to access, use, process, store, analyze, reproduce, distribute, and commercialize such content—including sharing or licensing it (in aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified form) with third-party partners such as insurance providers, for research, business intelligence, or commercial purposes.
      We will take commercially reasonable steps to anonymize or de-identify your personal information before sharing any data externally, unless otherwise permitted or required by law.
    3. Ownership: You retain all rights and ownership in your original content. These Terms do not grant us ownership of your content, only the rights described above.
  3. AI Chatbot Limitations

    The chatbot provides automated summaries, interpretations, and responses based on uploaded documents. It is not a substitute for professional advice. The chatbot is not a licensed insurance agent, broker, or advisor, and its outputs should not be relied upon as definitive coverage explanations or recommendations.

  4. Prohibited Conduct
    • Upload content you do not have permission to share.
    • Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activities.
    • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
    • Use the Service to distribute malicious code or spam.
  5. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your account or access at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination, we may retain certain uploaded content for ongoing business purposes in line with the license granted in Section 2.

  6. Disclaimers

    The Service is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of chatbot responses.

  7. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the past 12 months.

  8. Modifications

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

  9. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
